Replate's Founder & CEO receives a big honor!

We love what we do, we’re proud of what we do, and we’re inspired by what we do - that’s what Replate is all about. Not recognition….

HOWEVER, it doesn’t hurt to receive an award every so often! And today is one of those special kinda days.

This afternoon, our founder and CEO Maen Mahfoud will receive the 2023 James Irvine Foundation Leadership Award, right on the floor of the California Senate. It’s THAT official!

We’re incredibly proud!

Each year, Irvine’s Leadership Awards recognize innovative leaders whose breakthrough solutions to critical state challenges improve lives, create opportunity, and contribute to a better California. Additionally, the Foundation provides each recipient’s organization with a grant to support their work.

Maen was selected for his leadership and ingenuity in building an innovative solution to countering food waste and mitigating climate change (i.e. Replate!). Because of his diligence, passion and dedication to systemic change, Replate has been able to expand beyond borders, and make a significant impact on communities around the world.

That’s a big deal! We plan to use the funding to build upon our work across the Golden State.

Thanks to the Irvine Foundation for their support and encouragement, and for putting together this super awesome video to share our story…

BTW - You, too, can support Replate by signing your business up to donate, or contributing to our mission.

Otherwise, please share the good word with everyone you know. Pass along our deets!
